The flat refurbishment work has been assessed to National Accessible Scheme M1 (some M2 criteria are also met).

• Access to the flat is on level road planings from the car park area.

• A parking place can be reserved close to the flat on request.

• There is a 7 cm threshold on the entrance door, a step of 15 cm from the porch to the open plan living/dining/kitchen and a 20 cm step to one of the bedrooms.

• There are grab rails in the shower room and a fold-out shower seat.

• Due to drain levels, despite the best efforts of our plumber, the step into the shower is 235 mm, rather than the desired 190 mm. We aim to provide a subsidiary step. We have provided an additional grab rail above the M1 provision at this point.
