July 2008 - The park is now open from 18th March to 6th January. Caravan owners can visit their caravans over the Christmas period and experience the renowned “Tar Bar’l” New Year celebration in Allendale.
We have two pitches available for siting new caravans (up to around 36’ x 13’). We hope to have a display caravan on one of these pitches shortly. Two further pitches are also available to take new or used caravans (one up to about 35’ x 10’, the other up to around 26’ x 12’). You are welcome to come and have a look around, but it would be helpful if you could phone or e-mail us in advance to arrange your visit.
September 2007 - The park was awarded a Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award for the fourth consecutive year. 
September 2006 - Professor David Bellamy visited the park and was filmed as part of a short film, to be shown worldwide, to promote sustainable tourism. He kindly agreed to present awards to the two winners of our competition to find the most mini-beasts on the park.
